Sonya and I are in the middle of renovating a 6100 sq foot crazy mid-century modern house right now. It’s a major project by any standard and we are doing it quickly, as we have a lot of experience doing this stuff and have really good subcontractors.
One thing we did is open up some of the modern kitchen cabinets by leaving the doors off them. That’s in part for convenience but also in part so we can show off our super cool mid century modern glassware! The glasses will make a colorful collage in our kitchen as well as on one of two bars in the house.
